Song2Notation is a public beta for AI-assisted music transcription. We collect the data needed to run accounts, uploads, worker jobs, billing, and support.
Data we process
Source audio and links
Uploaded files, browser recordings, and supported public links are used to create transcription jobs. Uploaded files are stored in private Supabase Storage.
Generated artifacts
Worker output can include score data, MusicXML, MIDI, PDF, Numbered Notation, piano-roll data, status logs, and error state.
Billing data
Stripe handles payment details. Song2Notation stores Stripe customer, subscription, plan, and webhook identifiers needed to unlock paid features.
Support data
If you contact support, we use the information you send to troubleshoot account, billing, upload, or transcription issues.
No training promise for beta
We do not sell uploaded audio. Do not submit confidential, unlawful, or unlicensed material.
Controls and retention
Private access
Result pages are checked against your login or anonymous session cookie. Signed storage URLs expire.
Deletion
You may request deletion of account, job, upload, and artifact data by contacting support@song2notation.com.
External links
Public links may be imported by worker media tooling. Private, regional, platform-restricted, or unresolved login-gated content can fail before transcription starts.
